Erquy is a commune in the Côtes-d'Armor department, in the Brittany region.
The town of Erquy occupies the bottom of a cove on the Penthièvre coast between Cap d'Erquy and Pointe de la Houssaye, made up of the remains of a volcanic eruption.
The port of Erquy, which is home to a fleet of around 80 trawlers, is known as the "capital" of scallops, fished in the bay of Saint-Brieuc.
