| Description | The military fort of Loch at Guidel. Military construction built from 1756, it is part of the defenses away from the port of Lorient. The fort is surrounded by a wide moat and a wall pierced with weep holes. Access is controlled by a drawbridge. Inside, two buildings for the troops and ammunition..The fort of the Loch is the subject of a registration as a historic monument since 1 June 1960. |
